On the eve of Entrepreneur's Day on Thursday 4 September, Vihti Municipality's traditional Entrepreneurs' Evening brought together nearly 100 entrepreneurs, municipal trustees and senior officials from Vihti to the Vihti High School auditorium.

The opening speech was delivered by Eerikki Viljanen, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Council.

The Government's greeting to the entrepreneurs of Viet Nam was delivered by the recent Minister of Economic Affairs, Sakari Puisto, who gave a comprehensive outlook on the future and opportunities for business.

Mayor Erkki Eerola opened the ongoing strategy process of Vihti Municipality for the next two council terms, with a special emphasis on the business aspects.

Leevi Pursiainen, Chairman of Vihti Entrepreneurs and Chairman of the Municipal Board, summed up the evening from the entrepreneurs' perspective.

The event was hosted by Mika Partanen, Head of Economic Development.

The evening continued in the dining room of the Nummelanharju school with table discussions and good food.

The feedback on the event as a whole was very positive and many people were already looking forward to the next entrepreneurs' meeting.
