Vihti municipality's biodiversity programme (LUMO) will be prepared during 2023. The concrete measures of the programme will be carried out on lands owned by the municipality, but potential advisory and information measures can be targeted at stakeholders in the area. In order to obtain further information and to identify advisory needs, we would now like to invite businesses in Vihti to respond to our survey.
You can access the questionnaire here. The deadline for responses is 10 June 2023. The questionnaire is part of the municipal LUMO programme and its results will also be used for a thesis.

What is the LUMO programme?
The aim of the Biodiversity Programme is to safeguard and develop the biodiversity of Vihti. Biodiversity is defined as the diversity of living nature, including the diversity of ecosystems and species, as well as the genetic variation within species. The LUMO programme will result in the identification of areas and values within the municipality that are important to protect.

In the strategy of Vihti municipality, adopted by the Municipal Council, we want to promote the well-eing of nature and the environment and enable the preservation of biodiversity. We will ensure the restoration of water bodies in cooperation with local stakeholders and support the green transition in agriculture.
