Entrepreneurs can now assess how entrepreneur-friendly their home municipality is. The Municipal Barometer survey for entrepreneurs is conducted every two years to map cooperation between municipalities and entrepreneurs as well as the state of economic policy at the national, regional, and municipal levels. The survey is intended for entrepreneurs.
The Federation of Finnish Enterprises measures how well municipalities are doing in promoting entrepreneurship. The organization surveys entrepreneurs' opinions on how entrepreneur-friendly their home municipalities are, how successful they are, and what needs to be improved.
The survey can be completed in Finnish, Swedish, or English until March 16.
The survey is conducted in cooperation with Taloustutkimus. The results of the Municipal Barometer will be published in connection with the Municipal Management Seminar in Jyväskylä on May 20, 2026.
Why is it worth responding to the survey?
- You can give feedback and evaluate your municipality's activities: What works well and what needs improvement?
- Municipalities receive important feedback on their activities, including the significance of public procurement by municipalities for entrepreneurs.
- Entrepreneur associations receive information about the issues they should influence in the municipality on behalf of their members.
- Municipalities and companies serving entrepreneurs receive important feedback from entrepreneurs on the business services they provide.
In order for the results to truly reflect the opinions of entrepreneurs, it is important that each entrepreneur shares their own views.
Respond and make a difference!
