The Municipality of Vihti is offering businesses an excellent opportunity to establish themselves in the growing area of Etelä-Nummela.
The land allocation competition is seeking developers for the new zoning areas in South Nummela Employment Area II (N202a) and Linnanmäki Employment Area (N205).
The contest is open from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
Three large, versatile commercial lots are available, suitable for industrial, logistics, and other business operations—and you can also make an offer on a portion of a lot.
We have the capacity to carry out even large-scale projects
Plots ranging in size from approximately
- 24 hectares (ET/T-1), an area designated for buildings and facilities serving public utilities. Industrial, manufacturing, and warehouse facilities may also be built in this area.
- 9.5 hectares (KTY-7), a block of commercial buildings.
- 6.4 hectares (KTY-1), a block designated for commercial buildings. The area may be used for commercial facilities, office and manufacturing buildings, as well as industrial and warehouse buildings that do not cause environmental disturbances.
The plots have building rights totaling approximately 32,000–120,000 square meters of floor space, making the area ideal for significant investment and growth.
In the land acquisition competition, companies can present their vision for the development of the area and submit bids to purchase or lease the land. Bids may be submitted for one or more plots of land, or for parts thereof.
The lots will be sold at the purchase price specified in the bidder’s offer. Alternatively, the lot may be leased, in which case the annual rent will be 7% of the offered purchase price. If necessary, the project may be advanced through a reservation agreement or a preliminary agreement prior to the final sale or lease.
Please submit your bid by the end of September
The bid, along with any attachments, must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on September 30, 2026.

The Rostin business area, located between Vanha Turuntie and VT1, has been expanded eastward in the N202a zoning plan (South Nummelan Employment Area II). The N202a zoning area is situated south of the Nummelan urban center, bordered to the south by Turunväylä (VT1/E18), to the north by Vanha Turuntie (MT110), and to the west by zoning plan N198 (Etelä-Nummelan työpaikka-alue I). The area connects to the Nummela urban structure via the South Nummela Employment Area I plan (N198) and Pillistöntie. The Western Railway line runs between the area and Nummela’s current downtown area, where the Vihti-Nummela station will also be located in the future. With the development of the station area, the area will be more closely integrated into the public transportation network and the Nummela urban area. The area is located entirely outside groundwater protection zones.

N205. Aerial photo: Joenrinne Films.
The Linnanmäki zoning area (N205) is located south of the Nummela urban area, bordered to the south by Vanha Turuntie (MT 110). The Rostin business park is located south of the area. The area is just over 4 kilometers from the center of Nummela via Pillistöntie. Additionally, the area has quick access to both Porintie (VT2) and the Turku Highway (VT1/E18). The entire area is located outside groundwater protection zones. The Western Railway line runs between the area and Nummela’s current downtown area, where the Vihti-Nummela station will also be located in the future. As the station area is developed, the area will become more closely integrated into the public transportation network and the Nummela urban area.
